born as ‚eurasian‘ half german half cambodian, I grew up in different cultures, which has greatly affected and influenced me in my creative work. I grew up in madagascar, a tropical island with a variety of beautiful natural resources. I was particularly impressed to the woods, the semi-precious stones and colors that are unique to this island. as a child you discover the natural diversity more intense. our furnitures were all designed by my father and manufactured by local carpenters with beautiful local woods and fossil woods. lamp shades were made of paper mache with purple flowers of our garden or silkwork and we had used the oceanic diversity as room accessories.
