corporate recreation

from 2005 to 2014, soryonne has specialised her skills in designing hotel, spa and restoration projects, developing the biorhythm principle with her former team and partner. cooperations with various manufacturers from industry and design enabled the team to realise their own well-being objects and holistic spatial atmospheres.

the design philosophy was based on the mathematical order of natural vibration patterns, the starting point of all creative impulses, as a visible and tangible metaphor for a balance between sensuality and intellect. not only the design but also the network was based on it‘s principle. just as forms suddenly arise due to vibrations in sand and water, global networks emerge and grow today. the humanistic approach of holistic education through sensual experience already existed in previous projects and landed for the first time on the rooftop of the roomers hotel in frankfurt am main, which is by far the most fashionable hotel in frankfurt am main. roomers hotel was voted best hotel property of the year in 2010.

today soryonne is developing new approaches for a collective „corporate recreation campus“, with main focus on stress management, bringing body and mind back in balance. the concept holistically integrates different components of a relaxed and healthy lifestyle in everyday life, general well-being can sustainably be improved.

the focus is on reducing and managing stress, through meditation, with active and passive elements to reconcile body and mind. the coordination between body and mind has a beneficial effect on physical and mental health. through concentration and mindfulness exercises, the mind can calm down and gather.

the idea arose from her own work-life routine, understanding the benefits effecting the body in calming and focusing the mind.

our everyday’s life has changed and is continuing rapidly changing. digitisation, the abundance of information and time pressure are shaping our lives today more than ever before. the boundaries between work and private life are blurring. the relationship between working time and leisure time is becoming unbalanced due to the new working conditions. stress and its consequences increase and, above all, affect the body and psyche. people are getting more and more demanding jobs. the reason for this lies above all in the rapid development of technology and science. fast pace requires new ways to manage stress and live in harmony with our body. balance, relaxation and health are keywords that will continue to play a major role in our society in the future. recovery and a healthy lifestyle have become increasingly important in this context.

stress comes when we have the impression that we have no control over what happens to us, but at the same time require us to be able to handle it. looking at stress as something positive, it has even positive effects. an altered perception of stress changes the body’s response to stress. also important is our attitude towards time. what we perceive is not really „time“, it is the activity of our brain. it’s about the amount of new information and impressions that are processed in our brain every minute that has passed. we experience time subjectively.  …
